What does Bujinkan mean?
It's 武神館 meaning "武" -Martial, "神" -Gods or deities, and "館" or hall, many Japanese would read it as "bushinkan" as well..Either or works..Hall of the martial gods

Well, that is one way of looking at it. If you took the analogy of a church as being the house of God it does not necessarily equate that you are a god because you worship there. I must admit though, your idea of being a god is pretty darn good. _________________ …and meeting you Marc!!! haha that was funny beyond all reason and kinda scary |

That kanji no longer appears in Japanese writings. So with that Kanji in the Bujinkan, it means that we or should stop combat. Which is the martial way.
